I played my show last night at the cambie. Was first, as usual, but did an o.k. set. My voice isn't as strong as it used to be due to being sick for the past four months. The second set I did didn't last long because the sound guy took away the mic stands, so this little kid volunteered to hold the mic for me. Cute. I played three songs before I was drowned out by Sadly Available...
Kara showed up. That was unexpected. She said that Aimee probably wouldn't go on a roadtrip with me. I was crushed. She said some other things that were upsetting, but whatever. So now what. What if Aimee doesn't want to go? What if she is too tired by June? I still want to go somewhere - get out of Canada. Suggestions?
