The Girl had come upon an epiphany, that is to say she hit it rather than waiting for it to hit her. Like a caged creature, the Epiphany transversed her head, bounced of the walls. She finally mumbled to herself, "Death and taxes aside, there isn't much that a good cigarette and a strong cup of coffee cannot cure." She paused introspectively before adding, "and even 1040s and W2s appear far less forboding while the taste of niccotine and caffeine are fresh on the lips." She fumbled for the buttons on her awkwardly thick coat and pulled the collar straight up around her neck in her best Tallulah impression. Hugging herself, she let her hips swing as she took a few steps and looked back, as if waiting for someone to follow. Alas, there was nobody, not even her shadow. The frigid air of the parking lot engulfed her, and she lifted her head to survey the sky. Her eyes instinctively fell upon her constellation... no, not her zodiac sign, but Orion: her Protector. Her Epiphany began to frantically run laps around her head. "Coffee. Yes, coffee. Something to assure me I'm not alone." She leaned against the cool exterior of the car and bowed her head. An awkward smile graced her lips. "But there is a certain comfort in being completely alone." Raising her face to the moonlight, she noticed for the first time in months that Orion was hidden by the cover of sinister clouds.
