Thanks to help from weirdjews , I named him Brisket!  He and Matzah Ball have been having so much fun together.  He is a big (115 lb.) black setter/lab mix that I adopted from Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons.  I wanted Matzah to have a playmate, and boy do they play.

Matzah's going to be at doggie daycare until at least tomorrow night, if not until Monday night.  Why does this matter to you?  Because you can watch him on WEBCAM!  How awesome is that?  I'll be watching!

So it's all set, the puppy is coming home Friday!  Just four hours of driving and he will be alllll mine (well, at least on a trial basis).  This week he's getting his shots updated and a bath.  The breeder is going to take a check from me and hold it for four weeks, and if it doesn't work out then that's converted into a deposit for a puppy.  I ( Read more... )
