Grades
DONE! My essay for Brit Lit is finally finished and done with! I couldn't be happier that I've completed an essay. I know I won't get a perfect grade on it and am really only expecting a C on this paper. It's not my best work and it doesn't really deserve too much more than that, but for some reason I couldn't find anything to write about for the topic I selected a while back. I thought that I could manage to pull off finding something. Maybe it's just me going through and thinking that I should have been able to come up with something more brilliant than what I've managed to come up with for this paper. Oh well. At least I'll learn how this professor grades for next time.
Let's see. Right now, I have barely a B in Criminal Justice, as in, nearly an A. Like one point away from the A, literally. I can pull that up easily enough with three points of extra credit. Yay. Linguistics I have a solid B right now, which I'm sure with the next quiz and paper I can probably do well on and pull it up to a B+ or perhaps even an A-. Umm...American Lit I can probably pull off an A. At least a B+, which was what I was shooting for with that class. I earned a C+ on the midterm and can get an A on the essay once I re-write it. All that's left is a final, after that. Brit Lit I'm hoping to end up with a B. I'm hoping that with the next few papers in Teaching Writing I can pull that up to an A as well. Which will leave me with:
A (Criminal Justice)
A (Marching Band!)
A (American Lit)
B+ (Linguistics)
B (British Lit)
A (Teaching Writing)
Not that bad for a report card, which will definitely help pull up my grade point.
