This has been a really shitty week for me, as some of you know, and honestly, I just want to say how much I love you all, because fandom has been one of the few bright spots this past dark week, and I can't thank you enough for your squee and your fic and your porn and your polls and your pretty, pretty support and your gushing about brother touching and your schmoop and your picspams and your music and your recs and just...for being you. *smishes ALL OF YOU* You make me so so glad I have fandom.

Knife, Gun and Stake by r_becca. Hot, IC Jo/Faith, and these two are as close as I get to a crossover OTP, and fics like this are why. There's this lovely way Faith lets her guard drop around Jo and can see through a lot of Jo's false bravado, and they play off each other so well, all cheap denim and leather jackets and KNIVES and girls being HOT. GO READ IT.
Sam/Dean
And So Awakens The Devil by concernedlily. LONG, plotty, hot Sam/Dean. Messy and complicated, and I had a few minor quibbles with the end of this, but nothing to negate how divinely awesome it is, especially the Dean!voice, which rings really, really true.

So Close To My Heart by audrarose. This has been recc'd like a bazillion times, but whatevs. It's really good, just left me smiling, and I swear, Jensen as a single dad DOES SOMETHING TO MY INSIDES. YES PLEASE.
Context Is Everything by veronamy. Ahahaha. Jared speaks in movie quotes all day, and then Jensen joins in on the fun!

Speaking of fics, I have finally found my voice for my abouttwoboys fic. I'm about 6000 words in now, (and they haven't even MET yet) and it won't be done by the deadline, but I'll get it done eventually. I'm still excited about it, even though writing it has been like pulling teeth.
