If you can't spell it...
you probably shouldn't have it in your job title. I was given a card to set up for some random medical supply place... the person's title was written 'Account Excetitive'. Your guess is as good as mine... I assume that was supposed to be 'Executive' but suppose I just copied it and set the card and no one really checked over that word... I know if I were that person, I'd feel like a dumbass when every time I hand out my card the receiver points out the misspell.
Last night was pretty decent. Played WoW for a few hours and then spent the rest of the evening watching xxxHolic. I'm trying to get Kris caught up to me, so we can continue watching together.
I'm still in debate on whether a Lolita humanoid Yoshi would be a good costume or not. The biggest thing is trying to figure out whether people will be able to figure out what it is at first glance. I already bought red shiney hiking boots... and then promptly discovered his boots are actually more of a suede tan color (I'm not sure how both me and Kris got that wrong... but I can always just make it match the saddle backpack... I doubt anyone would notice). I guess whether or not I make this costume... the boots are cute.
Sarah showed me a spiffy game her brother brought back from Japan. It's a rhythm game like any of the Bemani games... and its for the DS. Basically, it's the Japanese male cheer type squad (you see em in anime every once and a while... they wear long jackets and some times use megaphones or wave flags... the leader usually has a bandana) and you go around cheering people up by doing cheers to random jpop songs. It was pretty cool, it had an Orange Range song, an Asian Kung Fu Generation song, Morning Musume song and L'Arc en Ciel's "Ready Steady Go" in there. I might have to track it down... I don't think I want to wait around for the American release.
Saturday afternoon, Kris and I will probably head down to Lincoln. My car's gas cap is still telling me to check it. My guess is I just haven't run the car long enough to let it repressurize. So, we're using this as an excuse to take a small trip. I don't know Lincoln at all... so I'm going to have to press all my sources to see if anyone has any suggestions on what to do down there. We're looking at needing somewhere to eat for lunch and then somewhere to spend a few hours before coming back home in time for dinner.
