Computers frustrate me...
Another night without use of my computer. I will be SO glad when this is over. It's not just the fact that I can't play WoW... it's the lack of being able to hop onto it whenever I need it, that kills me. (It's part of my morning routine; get up, check email, turn on gecko's light while I'm in there, and then finish getting ready for work.) While Kris worked on it, I made Mac & Cheese for us and made my first attempt at working on the cuffs for my Pram costume. I'm honestly not sure how that will go... whether the plastic will glue to the syrofoam disks... I guess I'll just have to try and hope it works. I think I might try sketching the face on the book while Kris works on my machine tonight.
Oh yea... I read the first volume of xxxHolic. It's a series by Clamp that parallels Tsubasa Chronicles (which I haven't watched yet... but had the complete series on my hard drive). It was a bit funny because at one point they go to help a woman who is obsessed with the internet (fortunately I read this monday, when I was still able to laugh at the problems with my machine). It's not bad... I might think about picking up the series, since I was borrowing Luke's copy of the manga. I have a preview for the anime, it looks interesting, as well.
Day two of being the only member of the graphic department now. It's not bad. I've kept up with everything and still have time spare (even after correcting some stuff Carol screwed up). One good thing about this... is there is now no one to screw up the organization system.
I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best, tonight. Maybe if things go well, I'll track down my copy of WoW from Eric and be able to sign on before bed (I kind of doubt it tho... even if installing the drivers doesn't take long... installing WoW will take forever). Here's hoping!
