If you have any interest in Nebraskon, the earliest pre-reg deadline is this Sunday (Aug 31st). I just finished writing out my check... I figure even if I go for only one day, the $25 3-day preregistration price is still cheaper than the 1-day price at door.
I sent a pm to one of the heads of Otaku Omaha. They say they're looking for more staff and I figure if they accept me, its something to get me out of this apartment every once and awhile. I think I might try popping into the store the head guy owns, if I don't hear from them soon.
