It's finally done.

I spent all last night reading and brought the book with me to work this morning so I could finish the final chapter and epilogue of the final Harry Potter book. Good thing I'm rarely kept busy here at work. I knew I could finish it before the bosses got in. I intend to read through them all again someday, but at least now I can relax that nothing was spoiled (minus Kris slipping his tongue about one death that I figured was coming anyway).

Now I can focus on my costume. I need to work hard and fast. Since Kris bought a desk for his computer, I can use his drawing table to trace out patterns and work on other pieces without having to move all the armor pieces spread across the dining table.

My brain has come up with a way to tease me. It's finding costumes that would be near impossible for me to do but yet make them really tempting. I have a poster from Kaleidostar... which wasn't a wonderful series but the poster is really pretty. The girl has frosted clear wings and thought of replicating that fascinates me but yet the logical part of my brain knows there's no way to get that through anything other than the huge open spaces in the BCC. I would never *ever* be able to fit through a door with that. If that wasn't torturous enough, I had the idea of one of the armored suits from Bubblegum Crisis. I think I saw one before (probably in pictures, not real life) but to have that... would be amazing. It's funny, because I think I only watched 2 episodes of the original series and only one of 2033 or whatever it was. It's fun to think about. It rivals the Bubble Bobble costume I want to do someday. On a whim, I might see if Bubblegum Crisis is among the tapes in my closet and watch it for fun. I can't remember if I even liked the series. :P
