Half of last night was spent with Kris on the floor poking and prodding my computer. He probably got it up and running somewhere between 7-8. Turns out, the power supply we bought back in like May to fix my computer's other problems was the problem. Fortunately, we had kept the old power supply and that got my machine running. I'll probably need to buy a new one in the future... but for now my computer works and that's enough for me.
We were in a stupidly long Rampart run last night. Gunna have to blame the healer and the tank for that. The dragon dude just kept killing our priest quick and then our warrior shortly there after. It probably would have helped if we'd had a second healer type instead of the warlock with us (a druid or pally to take more hits than the priest or maybe another warrior to keep an eye out for when the dragon landed). Our priest was shadow and was having to use his largest heals in feeble attempts to keep Eric alive. I got a sword off the first boss. I'm beginning to wonder if working with Eric is going to be an issue. He still sees himself as 'a rogue in plate' and thus wants to go after gear as such. He wanted to take the sword even though he has Zinrok Destroyer of Worlds and Dragon's Call. Whether this sword was better than either for tanking, I don't know... but the fact that he was making it seem like he was doing such a mega huge favor by letting me have it kind of bothers me. But then again... I've only played a level 12 warrior, so what do I know?
My goal with the expansion, is to take it at my pace and do instances as much as possible. One thing I look back on and kind of regret was not doing instances more while leveling my rogue. Before I hit 60, I don't think I ran anything more than 2 or 3 times each. At least leveling like this, we're in a guild where everyone is starting at the same time... rather than when we were in Imperial Myths and there was such a huge gap in levels between me & Kris and the bulk of the guild. Right now, I'm leaning toward staying in our guild mostly for the fact that its a lot of players with a lot of classes at our access. If we left for Sarah & Kevin's guild... we'd probably have a hard time grouping with them since they already have our classes covered. We'll see.
