People make my head hurt
In some ways, I can't wait until BC comes out... gathering 40 people for a raid has got to be so stressful. Last night we had a few guildmates want to leave because they think we just weren't getting it together and how we couldn't get through instances anymore. (Ok... we didn't get to take down Nef last weekend because 1. we lost too many people to holiday festivities on Saturday and 2. because a Naxx raiding guild stole him from us... other than that, we'd been going strong. But suddenly things fail this past week due to holidays and it's "OMG end of the guild, we can't complete instances anymore!") *sigh* I think the average gamer has like a 1 week memory span.
We ended up sharing BWL with some Defiant members last night. I got my Bloodfang belt, which puts me at 5/8 of my tier 2. Sadly, after doing the math... the most I could possibly get before BC is 7/8... and that's if the pieces I needed dropped AND no one else needed it (I think every rogue needs the gloves... I know at least two are gunning for the shoulders... and I passed up the boots a few weeks ago, so fat chance I'll see that again). After the raid, those guys that mentioned leaving decided to stay at least until BC... because honestly, they were going to leave us to pug BWL... at least with our "pug" the loot is more controlled. Ah, did I mention our dkp got shot? The site went down... so now other than a handful of people who have 'priority' on certain things because they were top dkp, everything is on roll (good news is, CTS is on priority I think... the only rogue I thought might take it from me, left the guild over the weekend. Oh yea, that was another point above mentioned guys had, "we lost so many people..." which was really just a druid and a rogue in the past couple weeks. -_- Sucks that we lost the druid... but the rogue was one of our worse geared and didn't show up too often, anyway.)
Alright, done with the WoW rant. I'm not sure what exactly is going on this weekend. Supposedly, I have the monthly dinner with people on Saturday... but haven't heard any exact plans yet. Hopefully, we're getting together with Aimee later. Nothing yet for New Years... but Kris likes to wait until the last minute if he does decide to do anything. -_-
