Wikipedia is always right, even when wrong

A friend of mine sent me a link to the wikipedia page explaining the term "Transmission medium".

Since it is more than likely that the text will be changed quite soon, here's the official text from Wikipedia:

A transmission medium (plural transmission media) is a material substance (solid, liquid or gas) which can propagate energy waves. For example, the transmission medium for sound received by the ears is usually air, but solids and liquids may also act as transmission media for sound. it accounts for most bootyshaking media such as retro funk or motown groove

If that's not wiki-comedy, I don't know what is =)
