One of the things I never understood about the north before moving here is the dryness of it. I come from the land of regular 98% humidity; dry air is a novelty. So of course my lips are chapped, my hands are ashy, and I have continual nosebleeds. I've decided to get a humidifier. After extensive research about warm mist humidifiers and cool mist humidifiers, auto shut-off features, mold, allergies, and safety ratings, I've decided on one. Not because it has many of the features I wanted (luckily it does), but because its pretty.
