Celebrity Shark Challenge
I have an award winning (patent pending) idea for a new hit reality show. Celebrity Shark Challenge. Every week, a different celebrity or team of celebrities would pit themselves against nature's chompiest fighter: the shark. They would begin by spinning the Wheel Of Sharks, which would be like a prize wheel with various sharks pictured on it. Then there will be a challenge or series of challenges, depending on how much time needs to be filled. Also there could be some product placement in there. Here are some examples of ideal episodes:
1. Paris Hilton and Gilbert Gottfried battle with big padded batons (like on American Gladiators) on a narrow balance beam over a tank of Whale Sharks. And because Paris would be too busy promoting her new line of edible underwear, she'd miss hearing that Whale Sharks don't eat people.
2. Drew Carey in the unfortunate challenge of feeding buckets of chum to Hammerhead Sharks while standing in a leaky canoe. This episode might need a second celebrity and a second challenge to fill the rest of the time.
3. J.Lo is lowered (in a small cage) into water infested with Great Whites in a feeding frenzy. There's really no challenge here, just underwater video cameras mounted in the cage.
4. The Olsen twins must chase a 5 foot Sand Shark around a shallow inlet until they have it cornered.
Obviously, once all the good ideas of Celebrity Shark Challenge have been used up, we'll move on to the next big craze: Celebrity Snake Challenge.
