I've said it before, and I'll say it again: donate blood.
Basic requirements: 17 years of age or older, 110 lbs or more.
It takes all of ten minutes at www.redcross.org to figure out the more detailed eligibility requirements.
It takes all of an hour, or less, to donate.
Yeah, fine, it hurts. Yeah, okay, you're scared of needles.
But I would recommend sucking it up to save 3 lives.
When you need blood--and we all could need it at some point in our lives--won't you want other people donating, too?
