WHY DO I SEE THIS IN THE U.S.!?

This morning when I was having breakfast and reading the Chinese Sing Tao Newspaper (U.S. West Coast edition), I thought, "Mah...nothing really interesting today."
I tell you, it's rare  to see Sing Tao report on anything JE, most likely because of the strict JE rules about pictures.
Last time I saw Jun's name on the newspaper (...like a week or 2 ago) regarding HYD F's campaign with the chartered jet and stuff, Jun is cut off from the pic
Maybe it was just Sing Tao who got a bad pic from some other source...anyways...

So, I reached the last page of the entertainment section, which usually just has American news. Plus, I ONLY read the entertainment pages in the newspaper.
If there's any Japanese or Korean news, they're usually on the 2nd to the last page, or they have a little box on the last page. For some reason, I was reading some random news at the bottom of the last page...just coz I was bored and I wanted something to read while I was finishing my breakfast. Just when I folded the bottom of the page up, I looked at the top of the page....and THERE IT IS

OMG

 *over-reacting*

This made it to the Sing Tao news in the U.S.
And they even posted 2 pics

 Totally shocked...
 I know I was over-reacting.
So, perhaps all the HK newspapers have already reported on this...
Now, if I see this issue appear in the little magazine thingy that comes out with the weekend issue of Sing Tao , that's REALLY BIG news.
I usually don't see any Japanese/Korean news on it though. If I really do see it, its headline will probably be more like "Johnny's War with Kodansha" instead of having Riida as the focus.

I'm not sure if my mom read it as well...when I went to the breakfast table, the entertainment pages were on top of all the other ones. But I think she only reads the HK news + entertainment stuff and doesn't pay as much attention to the back pages. She knows I'm a big fan of Arashi...but I'm not sure if she remembers the kanji of it, 嵐, coz the article only has the kanji. Plus, it's only one word, so it's very likely that she missed it. My mom hasn't said anything to me yet. She doesn't know much about the stormy boys, so I'm scared that she'll get the wrong impression of them by seeing this article.  If she did see it, she'd likely going to ask about why I fangirl so much over guys like this. If that happens, I'll tell her all the good things that Arashi has: MMA, childminder, 24 Hour TV, Olympic theme song, news caster, Hollywood star, zoo keeper, artist, inspirational songs, close friendship...endless list

Also some other more irrelevant thing...

Today, while I was having lunch, I was watching some HK talk show on TV.
I usually find the talks boring coz I don't care about those artist. But today, the guest was Alex Fong. I kinda like him too coz he's a swimmer/athlete, but I'm not really a fan of him. He's also one of the sportscasters of TVB who will be going to Beijing to report on the Oympics. Like Sho.
Alex talked about his experience in India and how he had to deal with elephants and tigers. Like Aiba.
Then the host asked about his feelings regarding the media's report of him going to night clubs and stuff in India. Alex talked quite a lot about how it's really, really important to have a clean image for idols, especially how he's also an athlete. This talk about an idol's image then reminds me Riida....
ok, I'm missing on Jun and Nino...lemme think
OK
I got it

Alex also talked a tiny bit about him filming a movie...or maybe he was talking about a drama, but anyways, I know he has done both. So...haha...this is not very good...but this filming part that Alex talked about kinda reminds me about Jun and Nino, who are both incredible actors.
 There
I've related Alex's whole talk to Arashi and each of the members
*feels proud* Well, it actually really depended on what Alex was going to say...I just had to use a tiny bit of thinking...

So, back to the Sing Tao article

Just so it won't catch the attention of anyone in my house, I sneakily took a picture of the article while I was home alone.
They'll suspect me if they see a part of the newspaper being ripped out...
I don't want trouble or explaining too much in my family.

Well, at least only these 2 pics were there, not the worse ones...

Here's the picture.
Click on it to see it more clearly.

Since I'm fluent in Chinese, I can finally make some use of my Chinese translating skills. The article doesn't say anything new, but I'll still make the effort to translate it.

Ok. Even though I said I'm fluent in Chinese, I'm not going to translate this thing word for word. Sometimes, it's just too hard for me to translate everything exactly. Plus, I'm NOT really, really fluent in English either.
Lol. I sound pretty awkward sometimes.
I'll try to do my best. This is actually the first time that I officially translate something from Chinese to English.

LOL. I'm already having trouble translating the headline

My knowledge on these kinds of English words is quite limited...how do I put this in English
Aaargh! I can't think of a word for 荒唐 (=intemperate...?) I'm using Chinese & English dictionaries online...Please don't hit me if I sound awkward using weird words or don't make any sense at all. This is actually much harder than I thought.

Translation:

"Ohno Satoshi's Intemperate Life Revealed"

Ohno Satoshi, the leader of Japan's popular idol group, is revealed that he is suspected to be invovled in smoking marijuana and having 3P with two girls. Yesterday, Gendai Weekly, published a few intimate pictures of him with some sexy girls.

According to Gendai Weekly, the incident happened in the summer of 2005. At that time, Ohno Satoshi and his friends were hanging out at a karaoke place in Shibuya. There, somebody passed marijuana to Ohno. Miss A (or A-san), who was there with the others, pointed out, "Ohno Satoshi was drunk. Perhaps he didn't know it was marijuana." According to Miss B, Ohno did smoke marijuana. At the same time, she said that Ohno and Miss A went to her home that night, and had 3P without using condoms.

Johnny's Jimusho, which is the management company of Ohno Satoshi, strongly denied this incident. However, since the filming of VS Arashi on Wednesday (30th) is suddenly canceled, people believe that the Jimusho is investigating on this issue, and Ohno might be punished. Arashi has a series of activities already arranged, and they willl start their Asia concert tour in September. If Ohno is punished, the other four members will have to do his work. In addition, Ohno's drama "Maou" may be affected as well.

However, yesterday evening, the Korean media said that the news might have been a mistake, and that Gendai Weekly has had some inaccurate reports.

Caption for the left pic: Ohno Satoshi's pictures with the girls are being published. *sorry, I don't really know how to translate 左擁右抱. It literally means, "hugging right and left, " as in having a girl on each side of a guy.*

Caption for the right pic: According to the picture, Ohno Satoshi looked very excited/happy at that time.

DONE

Lol. There's one sentence at the end that favors Riida. Well, that's better than nothing. However, the VS Arashi filming was canceled before the scandal was out, so I guess Sing Tao is wrong on this point. I don't like how it says Riida might get punished for this.

translation, fangirl, life, scan, ohno
