bittersweet
Today was a day to mark down in the history of my life. I bought my cap and gown for graduation and sold back my books for the very last time. I am once again at a crossroads in my life, similar to graduating from high school, except that time I actually knew what the next four years of my life was going to entail.
Me as of right now? I'm moving to Miami sometime in June to live with my friend Melissa and work for my dad. I've always dreamed of living there since I first visited my freshman year of college. It combines my two favorite things ... big city and the tropics. Not to mention lots of attractive wealthy people JK.
Most people will say "oh it's too expensive" or "do you speak spanish?" shooting every negative comment they can. Personally, I'm going into the situation with an open mind and positive attitude. I'll be leaving someone important behind, but if it's really meant to be then things will work themselves out. I'm not worried about the challenge because I know I can handle it. I want to go somewhere new and exciting where there are great opportunities for me to take advantage of, and MIAMI is that place.
I'll be taking my two new kittens, Gucci and Louis, with me, along with Melissa's dog Mr. Biggs. I was blessed with these kittens during one of the roughest weeks of this semester and they have been a great distraction from everyday life.
I'm happy, relieved, excited, anxious, nervous, and sad all at the same moment.
