I didnt say pick on the conservative right. I said essentially stop dealing with their line of argumentation. They never have any argumentation. It is all a smokescreen we play into. The smokescreen is faith in god generally. Powerful for them but irrelevant in politics because we live in America not a theocracy.
Ok abortion is killing then not murder. And no sperm is not the same thing as a zygote or a sperm attached to an egg. I am just saying we need to get comfortable with it. Not be so ugggghhh at the thought of killing an unborn fetus. LETS GET WITH IT. 1 month or 4 weeks we all KNOW where this pregnancy is going in nine months. There is a difference from an egg/sperm that is growing into a child and sperm that which is UNKNOWN to fusing with an egg. So NO.
And I dont care if a fetus is more like a parasite. It ends up a child. Im just saying quit playing by conservatives rules. It demeans your mind and destroys the ability to progress anywhere. IT s killing. And its ok. We should be progressive enough to deal with this fact. If we arent then there is no hope for the future. We will continually mediate our views till we have no views at all. It is no wonder Democrats appear lost. They only play by the other sides rules of the game.

Matthew and I had a discussion where we said only poor people should be allowed to have abortions. Rich liberals should be forced to have their children. Too many liberals dont believe in having children...the overpopulation thing...and they wonder where all the conservatives come from. its time to catch up. And there is SOME evidence to intellectual genetics. Lets pass it down people. Christians go 2 to 4-6 kids. We are just asking you to go 2 to 1 kid at least. These kind of conversations get ridiculous and are ridiculous but fun.

We went even further saying (now it gets really ridiculous) that every third child a poor family has can be a free abortion if they so choose to have one.

Even further we went into illegal immigration and decided we should put cell phone transmitters on every illegal alien. WIRELESS SERVICE MAXIMIZED!!!

Ok we are joking a lot now.

There is no evidence that abortion is wrong or whatever. This is WHAT IM SAYING. It is our denial that it is essentially killing a life that is stupid. We continue to do that trying to justify to them. I say fuck that. It is killing of a life and its time we accept that as it is. A choice a woman should have. IF we can kill millions of people in other countries without any choice then damn it an abortion which is fundamental for the progressive open minded society we wish to become should be accepted.

It is amazing. We will do anything. I mean ANYTHING to prove our point is moral therefore ok. It IS MORAL. Not by CONSERVATIVE terms. But like I said it is time to stop playing their game. I was not defending them in any way. They are a lost people. They should be pitied. They will ultimately destroy themselves. But as long as they are fought on their terms with their tool of argumentation they will live on. It is sad.

AND finally

Fight on! No need to pick on the religious right. Progress forward without them. Let them lay waste to themselves. The more we try to carry them along the worse it gets. Redress our problems. Energy and social problems. THats it. Those two are the most important problems for the next 20 years. We should only focus on energy solutions and social problem solutions. The next president should focus government funding to health care drug abuse programs (no more drug war) and energy solutions. Take the 8 billion we give the oil industry a year and put it into alternative energy research etc... thats one/half of the middle east solution. The other half is israel and I dont thin kthat can be dealt with. But breaking our ties with oil is a serious solution. If we pumped as much money into 5 fighter jets and the oil industry combined into alternative energy we wouldnt be using oil at all in 20 years for our vehicles and other such things.

A whole new industry would be created. The economy would explode with new businesses. Etc. It is a win win. Oil companies would fall if we didnt constantly fund them. But it is all academic. We either focus on those two issues. Or we get blindsided by non issues like illegal immigration and abortion. Or slavery and killing as I like to call them. BUild a wall? Jesus christ? A wall. How about we do this. Lets take all the money for a wall and for 5 prototype jets and put it into health care and alternative energy. Sweet.

A quarter of a price of a jet could triple the national endowment for the arts.

The price of one fighter jet could feed millions of people for one whole year.

Fighter jets are built to run on fuel.

Some killing is alright. For instance if we killed Roger Ailes...that would be curing what ails us.

OUCH!!!

later guy. I AGREE WITH YOU! Except for two things. Acknowledging the christian right at all. And abortion is not killing. Sorry I said murder. It isnt to different for me I guess because I think it is ok. So I guess murder was the wrong choice of words. Legal killing I guess. As it should be. I mean it just seems like people say it isnt killing to make themselves feel better. Why is it a hard choice? WHy is abortion a hard choice if it is parasite removal? Why is it a difficult choice if it isnt killing a life. Lets just be honest damn it.
