makin my way
Gah i never update. Ive been going to bed earlier though...well ok trying to. Friday night i was up pretty late because i was scrambling to find a way to send my paper to fucci last minute. And by last minute i mean negative 75849375 minutes because i techincally failed the course since i didn't hand in those last papers. My jaw seriously dropped when i saw it. I knew not handing them in was bad, but failing the course? Damn. So i emailed him and he gave me the chance to send them to him and he would grade them "under consideration" of course I was visiting erin down in LBI when he wrote me that back, so I couldn't send him the papers til 2 days later. But i did send them. Still waiting on a word back, but if i could just get away with a C i will worship the ground Fucci walks on. An F is noooo good at all. Esp for only having 4 classes last semester. No real reason for it. Just keepin my fingers crossed.
So anyway, yeah, i visited erin wed-fri. It was good times, we went to LBI wed and got chased by the sand machines and rescued a dead animal/elmo balloon from the ocean. Then we roamed around the Ron Jon shop and probably looked like thieves until my friend Chris showed up. We ate some food and later went to see the DaVinci Code. I wasn't a real fan of the whole craze anyway, but the movie was decent. I think the book would piss me off cuz it is just one mystery after another, and those kinda books piss me off b/c i need answers haha. This thing didn't give me many. Plus i wasn't that interested in solving it anyway. The next day we went to Seaside which was really nice actually cuz no one was there and i got to see greg and bobby came down for a few minutes too. At nite we were beat so erin and i just ended up watchin the office marathon. God that show is amazing. The british one rules too tho. I'd like to get those dvd's.
So what else is new? Tomorrow is dad's bday, everyone is off, we won't do much but clean my room. Tyke comes home wednesday, hopefully she's still having a party of some sort this weekend b/c i took off. if not we better do something cuz im not wasting two perfectly good days off. I'm half way thru (now that i don't have to stress about finishing that paper) my nick hornby book. It's making me struggle with myself actually. There's this guy in there called DJ Goodnews. He's basically a really earthly, love everyone, keep it fair for all and a natural healer guy. The main character is sarcastic and down to earth so naturally she doesn't get along with him. It's really conflicted cuz he's right in his ways but it requires giving up all the modern conveniences, aka like a dishwasher. It sucks cuz you hate him but you know he's right. He reminded me of Gabe cuz of that one time he explained why he drinks the kinda nasty tap water at school, cuz even tho he can drink purified water, not everyone can, so he feels like if he wants everyone to have what he has, he should be where they are so he's not just fighting for others, he's fighting for himself too. Good concept, but then you're just like, why is it so bad to drink purified water if it means you won't get lead poisoning or something? haha. I dunno. I hope this book gives some answers cuz i'm doing too much self reflecting.
