Looking back on it, I can't believe that I ever second guessed myself that this would be the best way to spend my summer. I would not trade the past two months for anything in the world.
8 hours each day sailing on the lake.
Two backpacking trips.
One kayaking adventure.
Lots of s'mores.
Rock climbing at 3 am.
Fourth of July fireworks on Lake Michigan.
A giant sailing excursion.
Battling ninja mice, spastic squirrels, and mutant raccoons in the night.
Stealing toasters, ovens, and cereal dispensers from Boys Camp.
All-camp games of capture the flag.
Countless beach night sleepouts.
Suspending canoes from eating lodge ceilings.
No cell phones or televisions for miles.
Falling asleep to the sunset on Lake Michigan and waking to the beautiful sunrise.
Raisin Bran.
Making the most genuine of friends from 18 states and 9 different countries.
Incredible.
