Arm Chair Lawyering

Seems to be all over the internet today, and it's giving me a headache. OY. Seriously, really, "predatory practices" means something, and it's not what you're saying it is, people have to have "standing" to sue for things, judges are not at all interested in renegotiating the "reasonableness" of the deal your insurance company cut with your doctor for "reasonable and customary" charges, professional services are not "goods" under the UCC, misleading advertising is too unlawful even if it only leaves something out, you don't need a piece of paper or even an explicit conversation to find yourself on the owing end of a contract, and lawsuits are not free.
