University: Lemon Dorms
I was going to put both University updates in one entry, but I took so many pictures at the Lemon Dorms that this one would be way too long. I'll have the Lime Dorm update either later tonight or tomorrow, depending on if I finish or not. Good news though! My mom is letting me order my new computer on Wednesday so it should be here by Saturday! I'll be taking a bit of a break from this challenge at that time, because I'm finally going to do an Officially Wacky Boolprop Challenge (keep an eye out for it). In between playing that I'm also going to be building new houses for my BACC families, as well as fixing up the existing community lots. Then I'll get back into updating you guys on those families.
The Lemon Dorms
Meadow Thayer, Valerie Long
I've been doing some CC deleting and organization, so some Sims were missing hair, clothes or make-up, including these two Dormies that Valerie had previously made over.
Of course I had Valerie redo their make overs, even though Florence's hair was no longer in my game. She got to be the first Sim to get one of the new hairs that I downloaded. Maxine got her old hairstyle back after heart farting over Valerie.
Meadow's aspiration was getting a bit low, so I had her invite over Lillie since she had wants to play with her and tell her some jokes. Then she ended up rolling wants to flirt with her and give her a backrub! No way! I considered it, since she could be another one of Lillie's first dates, but I didn't want them falling in love, so I made Meadow send her home and pay attention to Valerie. Meadow also started rolling wants to flirt with Marsha Bruenig, which will never happen.
Meadow was also slacking in the skills department since all she ever wants to do is play chess and make friends. I finally buckled down and made her earn some skills she'll need to become a Captain Hero.
And since she needs the cleaning points, Meadow has also become the official bathroom cleaner.
Of course Valerie still paints a lot in her free time when there's no one to give a make-over to. She made me love her more when she painted my favorite picture, which Sims rarely seem to ever paint. I didn't let her sell it; instead I hung it up in her room.
An update on University is never complete without a fight between a cow mascot and a cheerleader. This one happens to be between Meadow's friend, Tiffany "Spidermonkey" Kennedy, and Pearl "Hooves" Somethingorother.
Hooves kicked that cheerleader's booty so hard that she went through that cheap ass couch. It was later replaced with a nicer one.
The gypsy brought them a lamp shortly before their final exam. This is the second or third one I've earned in this challenge so far.
I guess I wasn't paying that much attention to their grade meter things, because when I got the 5 hour notice, Valerie was probably in the B range and Meadow was right at the line to pass. I had Valerie do an assignment to bump her up to an A and I sent Meadow to write her term paper but she only got up to 95% because she kept stopping to play SSX3, so I sent her off to the exam anyway. Valerie got an A+ but Meadow got a C.
I had the girls get right on with their term papers and assignments so that wouldn't happen again. That gave Valerie plenty of time to do some make-overs. She still hasn't gotten the silver badge yet, but she hasn't been messing up so I hope she gets it soon. Before shots are on top, afters are the bottom.
With all this free time I decided it was about time the girls went on a date. They hadn't been on one since they were teens.
They are the worst Family Sims ever. Neither of them has rolled up the want to get engaged yet, but they both rolled two wants to WooHoo. I bought them a photoboth, so I could take care of those wants and to get some pictures of them. And apparently Valerie had the fear of getting her picture taken, which I didn't notice until after she came out. Silly shy Sim.
Then it was time for a party! Their Sophmore year was drawing to an end, so I had Valerie call up her siblings, as well as Erik's girlfriend, to come boogie down!
Lillie is totally hardcore. LoL
Valerie's not so good at the Smustle, but she tries.
Opal (Erik's girlfriend) is hopeless at it.
Erik gets way too into it, but he's good.
Yvette was completely off, and she was blocking the door.
Valerie had to give Zelda a make-over because her hair was one that I deleted. She messed up for the first time in a long time, too.
But she got it right the second time, so I gave Zelda a new hair that I got, which shows off her adorable ears.
Then Zelda joined in on the Smustling, along with some random stalker dormie dude.
All good things must come to an end though. Officer Demi Love came by at 11 to break up the party.
Well the party didn't end for Florence. She kept right on dancing, then a few minutes later she went to bed.
After the party, Meadow and Valerie spent a romantic dinner of Mac-n-Cheese together.
Then the next morning, the girls headed off to their final exam. This time they both came back with an A+.
