I've had many people in my life that I will never forget. A few of those people have stayed and a few of them are gone. Each person has made a great impact on my life in so many ways causing them to be unforgettable. Someone I will never forget was my best friend/ ex-boyfriend, Matt.
Matt and I had a special relationship from the beginning. We were both into the same things. We liked the same music, sports, and pretty much everything else. We both had similar personalities and we meshed pretty well from the day we met. We automatically became great friends, no strings attached.
As Matt and I grew closer I realized that I was very attracted to him. Everything about him; his smile, his laugh, his personality, his love for God. In our close friendship I learned a lot from him. He taught me how to be myself in awkward situations and he showed me how unique and creative I was. He tried to teach me how to snowboard and other various activities. He taught me how to laugh when I was down and how to make a bad time into a good one.
After being friends for a while, Matt realized he had the same feelings for me as I did him. So, the next best thing was to start dating. Matt was my first boyfriend ever. Now who could forget their first boyfriend? Along with teaching me what a real friend was like, he taught me about dating. I knew everything about him and he knew everything about me. We did everything together. He showed me to work hard, even if I didn't want to do the job. He taught me how to play video games on his xbox and how doing nothing could be a lot of fun. Finally, he showed me what it feels like to be hurt by someone you really care about.
Matt made a great impact on my life and taught me things I wouldn't have learned on my own or from anyone else. I will always hold Matt's friendship in my heart and his teachings will always be with me. He is and forever will be unforgettable.
