here's the thing. We hook up to the internet in the hopes that we'll stay connected. That's why the internet was invented. The proverbial information highway connects to many smaller roads. The thing is that sometimes we get so wrapped up and convinced that we need to stay connected that we kind of forget that personal contact is worth more than bytes and 1010101010101010 messages ever will be.

I guess this is sort of my resignation. I'm cutting back the time I spend on the internet.

oh, and I'm leaving in a week and a half to go to Canada. After that I'm going to be engaged in all sorts of other activities and whatnot. Call me so that we can hang out.
