Serendipity
I hate the love pseudo-intellectuals have of the word "serendipity". Yeah, it sounds nice, but what the hell does it mean? I'm sure they can express the same meaning using more common day-to-day expressions. But no, they want to make others think that they're so cultured and smart.... YOU'RE A BUNCH OF JACKASSES! Just because you wasted the time in checking the word's meaning in the dictionary doesn't make you any smarter than the rest. It just makes others see how desparate you are for attention.
