Chapel Hill
I landed a phone interview with UNC-Chapel Hill!! I thought it was pretty much over with, but I should haven known better than to think a group of faculty could work that fast. Anyway, I'm leaving tomorrow for Dallas, TX, for my convention, and I'll be doing my phone interview from my hotel room there. I have to bring a lot of print outs about the UNC program with me so I can do my homework. I also made a list of the courses I think I could teach for them, list of books that I could potentially use for those courses, and a few representative journal names so that I don't seem ignorant of the business communication field. If I make it to the face-to-face interview, I'll have a great chance. I've never NOT been given the job offer following a face-to-face interview.
I'm going to try to locate a "big name" scholar to write the forward to my book while I'm there. I have a few people in mind.

Saturday night went well. The couple drove down from Raleigh to meet visit with us. She was a lot cuter in person, in fact, and he was very pleasant and easy going. We talked, had some beers, played some cards, stripped, dared each other to do various things, and off to the bedroom four little naked bodies went. It was a very pleasant experience, though the guy had the usual performance issues. Very few of the guys we've had over have performed without issue. Strange, strange, strange. I've never ever encountered the problem myself, so I have a bit of pity for them. It's not like they were new to the scene, and they've been married for 17 years. I guess sometimes it just doesn't work for some guys. Strange.
