Dean just asked me if I would serve as the College's representative to a new University committee concerning online publishing. Our Dean does do his research, I've noticed. He does look at all the vitas of the faculty in his college. I've published two online journal articles, one online book review, been book review editor of an online journal, guest editor of an edition of an online journal, built dozens of websites, some for pay, and presented a convention paper on the advantages and disadvantages of online publishing for academics, which I've heard is soon to be included as an article for yet another online journal. I feel as if I know a thing or two about the online publishing world, and hope that I can contribute to this new committee. I'm just amazed that our Dean knows me this well. Then again, he did pay for me to go to Poland last summer and he did help me get promoted to Assoc. Prof.

I'm going for full prof when I apply for tenure. No doubt about it.
