(no subject)
I'm without spouse this week. She's in Raleigh taking her insurance class. She'll take her insurance license exam on Saturday and then come home. When she passes the test, she'll get her raise and promotion. In fact, she'll then be able to transfer our home and car insurance to the corporation she works for, which will provide us with better coverage but at a cheaper rate, and make a commission off both. Yea, money!
Two promotions in one family in one month!
Meanwhile, I get to spend the week with my daughter and enjoy her wonderful intelligence, creativity, and sillyness. I don't really say too much about her on here, but she is intelligent and mature beyond her years, to be sure. I took her to my night class yesterday and she was drawing on the board while the students were doing some group work. She wrote "I love Daddy" on the board. It was so sweet. She tells me "Daddy, you're the best" about 4-5 times a day. She's definitely my inspiration.
My wife will get her tonsils out during my Spring Break. yuck. About a 10 day recovery time. I'll get to basically do this single parent thing again then. But not looking forward to having my spouse in pain, but at least it will be the last time she'll ever have to go through it.
