"You say you want a revolution"

If you care about the state of things: Run for the House of Representatives or the Senate... Or even local government. There are elections every few years for a reason, and to discourage the career politician. "It's still we the people... Right?"

If you want change in the system, there's no better or more effective way than joining it to create the change you wish to see.

Requirements for the House of Representatives:
1) Be 25 years old and have been a citizen for 7 years.
2) Be a resident of the state you're running for.
...That's it. Nothing more.

Requirements for Senate:
1) Be 30 years of age and have been a citizen for 9 years.
2) Be a resident of the state you're running for.
...Nothing more is required.

There are BS jobs with more requirements than running for a government official's position. It was designed from the beginning to be: the people Representing the people.

Point is... Things got out of hand and there is an extremely viable way of fixing things, that was set in place since the beginning. And if you are too modest to run... There is always inspiring someone with enough charisma and will to do so.
