Updating real life
Hubby is doing well with the job, he's still in training but everything's going very well so far. He's happy, he's doing something he's good at, and he doesn't come home with pizza sauce covering his clothes anymore. :)
I've applied at the same place, using hubby as the referral. If I get hired on, not only do I also get 40 hours a week at $10.25/hour plus benefits, he gets a bonus for referring me. If I don't get hired, I stay on at the fabric store, and since Halloween and Christmas are coming up, that's the busy time, so I'll be getting more hours. Either way, it's good. :)
Finally got a chance to see the Hamlet DVD I got for my birthday. It did not disappoint. David Tennant and Patrick Stewart are both exceptionally good, giving nuanced, believable performances. I also liked Peter De Jersey, who played Horatio. I highly recommend it.
