I'm still alive
I just realized I haven't posted since April. We've settled into the new place, so far, everything's pretty good. The apartments have a nice heated pool and well-stocked workout room, and I've been trying to get into some semblance of shape. Mom's coming up for a visit next month and I hope we're having good weather then (then again, compared to Phoenix, even our hot spells are tolerable, and the air is much, much better!)
Still working at the fabric store, and probably will be for the foreseeable future. Need to get the sewing machine tuned up and start sewing again, though. I want to make Jonny a medieval / pirate outfit, somthing he can wear to the SCA and to the Portland Pirate Festival.
Hubby's looking for a better job, got an interview with a rental car place that offers higher wages than he's making now, plus benefits. Plus you don't come home from work covered in flour and tomato sauce and smelling like pizza! ;) Hope he gets the job.
