Heart-shaped egg poachers......
.....yes, you heard me! Heart-shaped egg poachers....and I now own one! My mom wanted an egg poacher for Christmas, either a mirowavable one (couldn't find), or a regular sit-in-the-skillet-in-water one (which I did find), and I saw one that had heart-shaped sections and had to buy that for myself.
I had heart-shaped eggs for dinner!
Side note: My two cats, Hobbes and Susie, are completely sprawled and stretched out in front of the heater. Awwwwwwww, they are soooooooooo adorable!!! Hobbes likes to lay on his back with his front paws stretched above his head, and his back legs just spread wide open ;-). Sometimes he twists his body so that I'm not sure which direction he is really going. Right now the back of his head could actually rest on his tummy. I call him "twisty-bendy cat" to myself. Susie is usually just "the brat" or "the drama queen." Okay, enough about the cats!
Um, I did my Christmas shopping today, and got myself some neat stuff. Oh yeah, and got the PNBM and the PNBB some stuff, too! I haven't bought myself stuff in months...literally. Everything I've I bought or done has been for the kids. Well, I have to start doing more for myself!!
Two books by Dr. Phil -- Rov says he's mean, well he called him worse than that ;-) but I'm a sucker for self-help books! Usually I don't have any success which is why I buy more! *stare*
So, those plus Dr. Phil daily calendar with sayings....the kind you rip off each day. And a new yearly planner....not an ugly black, utilitiarian one this time, either. But a really, really cute one with cats and pretty pages on this inside. The inside covers are purple with dark purple cat paw-prints. :-) I'm hoping next year will be much more exciting and better than this year--San Diego being the major exception in this year. So, a pretty new calendar to mark down in all the neat stuff I will do.
I always say "next year" will be better than "this" year, and usually it is not. *shrugs* But I keep hoping!! Where there is hope there may be success! The very first thing for the new year is pretty neat, so it's going to get off to great start.
I'm swiping the idea of keeping track of my daily, maybe weekly, horoscopes to see what my life *should* have been like. I've gotten a great deal out of astrology in many ways, but this is just too fun to pass up! Either that or we'll see how long I last at it! ;-)

Spending too much time talking to friends or relatives could easily turn into a debate that could lead to estrangement. (Ha, I already spend hours online and no one cares!!) You mustn't give too much to your children. (Bad children, you mayn't have too much....oh wait ;-).......bad kitties, you can't have too much!) Try to enlist the support of your coworkers first. (I'm on vacation and first "what"?) You must make sure that all your personal documents are in order (Okay, getting that covered....!).
