lots on my mind, not a lot on paper
This past weekend was a working weekend with Miss Penny and Master Blaine. I feel like I did alright with the helping with latex and am actually not sucking nearly as much as I used to suck. I managed to actually make something from start to finish. Sure, they were simple gauntlets, but it felt kinda good to do an ok job finishing them. I also cut out an entire pattern, and I haven’t heard I that I seriously messed that up so I’m assuming it turned out alright too. I had a good time helping, though I did find myself missing being all in rope during the helping part. It’s a lot harder to pull off with Miss Penny’s dad around. But, according to Master Blaine, ever the snarky smartass, my soul is in bondage, even when I’m not.
Along with lots of latexing and pattern making and general productivity, we went to a party for Miss Penny’s web designer’s birthday. It was fun. I felt super socially awkward that night, as I usually do in situations where I don’t know many people. I had a great time people watching and molesting the birthday boy’s fantastically diverse puppet collection. I have officially fisted a gargoyle! Yayayayay!
Also, Master Blaine and I went on a dinghy adventure that didn’t involve scraping squirting mollusks from the bottom of the dinghy for the first time in a while. It was so nice that it was all summery and felt so good to dangle my feet in the water, and bounce around in just a bikini top. We had really good conversation and a generally nice time. Its good to have something fun to do like that early in the morning, so that Miss Penny can get her beauty sleep undisturbed. The other thing we did nice and quietly early in the morning wasn’t bad either ;) I don’t write about it in great detail, but holy hell do I love sex.
It’s been a fairly stressful week for me here. It’s the last week of summer semester, so on top of normal stuff that needs to get done in school, theres studying for finals, trying to get everything done, and making sure that my grades are as good as they can possibly be. There’s a lot of writing due for school this week, so I’m trying to squeeze a livejournal post in between writing a final exam and a self evaluation for my English class, trying to figure out what to make for an English class party. I want to make something delicious but not incredibly refined, as the people in my class are a bit on the retarded side. I also want to make something with ingredients I already have. I hate mandatory pot lucks that are entirely unplanned. But I’m a bit of an OCD planning type person. Oh well.
I don’t have a whole lot to say today. I am really looking forward to school being done so I can focus all my energy on my very fun assigned posts I have coming up. I’m also looking forward to spending some time with Miss Penny and Master Blaine before my upcoming trip and maybe, just maybe squeezing in a beating before going away for a few weeks. Ugh. Time to write my final.
