SHAZBOT!! The Mother ship is down again-
I was vacuuming, preparing for Pippa's arrival (although she called and said she'd be late- no biggie- it's vacation- there is no timeline). I heard my cell phone v/m alert go off- didn't recognize the # at all. Listened to the v/m, heard my Mom's shakey voice and knew- sure enough- she was in the hospital with pneumonia. DAMNIT! I know this downward spiral is inevitable, but now we must see the doctor struggle with her to get her into Cedar Living Center...and all this happening 6 hours away. Hang in there Mommy Dearest...Hang in there and please do what the doctor says to do! Please call us and tell us to come help you move some of your things and we'll come.
Edit: 5:46pm Pippa called and can't come tonight due to not feeling well, but her plan is to be here by 11:30a tomorrow if at all possible. Guess I'll be eating the chicken pesto pasta I made by myself. Think it will be movie alone night to prepare for tomorrow- Or if I get a hair up my a$$ I'll go watch Burlesque- will wait to see how I feel in a couple hours and what phone call comes next. Down but not out.
