How did you know you were in labor: I didn't, my contractions were close & strong but I thought it'd be another false alarm
Had you had any false alarms: several, starting about 2 weeks before i gave birth
About how long was your actual labor: I was dilated for weeks, was at the hospital (the last time) 13hrs before she was born
When did you go to the hospital: 12-15, 4:40pm
Did your water break or did they break it for you: they broke it to better monitor her heartrate
Did you get sick at all: after my c-section my temp went up to 104, I had to stay 4 more days
Did you have pain meds: an epidural and general anesthesia
Did you have any complications: her heartrate was dropping and I wasn't progressing fast enough, I ended up with a c-section (her cord was wrapped around her neck twice and her head had been 'ear first')
What time was your baby born: 8:27 AM
How much did they weight and how long were they: 6 lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long
Who came to visit: my mom, my sister in law, my brothers, my dad, lillians father and his family, neighbors and friends
Who was the first to hold the baby: John, her father (after the doctors/nurses)
What did you do the hours after the baby was born: woke up, got to hold and nurse her & be put into a room
