gah! the fluffy has overtaken the apartment!!!
yes...that's right...the fluffy...
my roommate John brought his dog to stay at the apartment. The most adorable wiener dog! year old, half long fur, half short. she has a blue eye and a brown eye, and her name is Boosh. she gets along well with Loki my cat, and thinks my rat is a chew toy.
anywho, why I've been absent for a while.
1) sickness.
yes, the mono has taken over me. Doesn't help that john also has mono and we keep spreading the germs around to each other. Damn sickness.
2) general blah-ness
yeah, due to mono and such, I really haven't been going to classes. I ended up dropping out of 2 of them, saddly one of them is my advanced animation class. Too much work for me and my lazy state of mind.
I am actually gonna be only part-time for next semester, and work the rest of the hours so I can actually get some money and not be bored out of my mind. I just need to get back on track with things.
3) lack of boyfriend
Yes, I did it. i broke up with my boyfriend. put it this way: when our relationship hadn't really been a relationship for the past 4 months, I was on edge constantly. All it took was an aim conversation with an old friend of his that wasn't really "sympathy for all that's shit in your life" and more of a "hey, i like you...and you're single now" kinda thing. So that night I dumped his ass.
This means relocation of things. We still live together, but now not in the same room. i asked my other roommate if he could move in with him, and i would get a room to myself. So we had to do that.
4) guys moving in.
Yeah, happened again. As soon as my male friends found out i was single, it was open season. At least it isn't as bad as when kale broke up with me my sophmore year. that was nuts...a month and a week of pure hell. The only guys I really hang out with are my roommates (5 guys and me in case you're wondering) and no worries. But I do go out to the bars...so you can see where this is going.
5) Halloween party!!!
the guys i live with are the ones that hold awesome holiday parties. i went to the halloween party last year, won sluttiest costume and had a blast. this year, we have 2 apartments between the 6 people. so we got to re-arrange the furniture and things for a kickin party. Keg o woodchuck, beer bongs, tv's on their side playing The Ring on loop, chill apartment vs party apartment, zombie juice, and beer pong.
I was commissioned to do the costumes for the guys. i altered the following: Jacket for Joker, Jacket and tie for Riddler, Pants for Lex Luthor, sash and boots for Black Adam. And from scratch, Dr. Strange, and corrupt Supergirl. So I was busy doing that, and doing constant runs to Erie for decorations and just roommate gatherings.
So erm...yeah. That's the rundown of things that have been going on...and saddly i haven't touched basis on a few things.
