Doctor Who - The Day of the Moon
Great stuff once again. It was cracking entertainment, laced with lots of twists and surprises, and has given us plenty of questions to chew over as this year's over-arching plot unfolds...
So, just who are The Silents? Where did they come from, and what have they been doing on Earth all this time? Why do their control rooms look so much like Tardis control rooms? Why do I get the feeling that they were actually a force for good, and that by bringing them down, the Doctor has opened a nasty can of worms which he's going to have to close up again?
Who is that little girl? Is she Amy's daughter? Is she River? Is she really a Time Lord? Is she one we've met before? Is she Romana, the Rani or maybe even Susan? What were the Silents doing with her? If she isn't Amy's daughter, then what did the Silent's do with Amy's child? If she is, who is the father?
And as usual - what exactly is the story with River Song? I think the next time we meet her will be her first meeting with the Doctor, and I think she's going to be a baddie.
How much fun am I going to have learning the answers to these and other questions? Plenty! :)
