Anyone still check this site every once in a while?
Did your parents ever find out about your Livejournal? Or teachers, etc?
Lose track of people after Facebook came around, and people started 'sharing' with more people, but in a less personal manner?
Do you ever go back and read over what you wrote back in grade/high school? I guess I still used this site in to college!
Do you contemplate deleting it, or do you want it around for nostalgia or comparison to how you are now, or what? Have you deleted stuff already? Find any nuggets of cool things you said back then that you wouldn't think of saying now? Is it just a lot of embarrassment? Were you bolder then or more reserved? Do your journal entries tell the truth? Are they coloured by the way you wanted to present yourself? How you wanted to be perceived / wanted to be as opposed to who you really were? Or can you even tell? Do the words of the younger you fool your present self into thinking you were someone you weren't? Could other see through it all? Or was your online persona more 'you' than 'real life' you? Who knows.
Somehow I feel like I did more socializing on the internet before this whole 'social media' revolution.
