(no subject)
Im really looking forward to classes actually starting. Me and ronnie are finally getting settled into our dorm, we got our loft yesterday and have enough space to move now, its kinda roomy. We haven't killed each other either which is a plus. Food is real good too. Haven't met too many people yet though. Everyone seems pretty nice, but i guess closing myself off in my dorm seems tempting for whatever reason. Perhaps we'll start getting out more though. Kevin seems to know some people. And there is so much here, its hard not to get involved in something. Tonight we went to a group thats supposed to have social activities minus the alcohol, something hard to find around here apparently. Sounds interesting, but not sure if we will get involved or not. Been to lots of christian stuff with ronnie, im not real interested but there is a lot of free stuff. Ive gotten 3 free waterbottles, a bunch of shirts, free food everywhere, and some other stuff at meijer madness the other night. That was alright, minus the karaoke and the getting soaked with mountain dew. I guess im starting to get used to college life, but i miss home and people there, especially emily. Definitely an adjustment not to see her everyday, but at least i can call her. I almost miss pizza hut, which is pretty sad. It will be nice to have classes to keep me busy here i think. Im sure ill be home before too long though, maybe later this month, and certainly in october.
