Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Six foot or six foot one, I forget. Leaning towards six. He is fit but on the thin side, kind of stick-like. Always slouches. Imagine a scarecrow made of cloth.
2. How old is he?
Thirty one as of his last birthday, celebrated in September on ship!
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Slouches, always. Or backward-slouches. He just can't stand up straight; it'd be weird.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Fit, no illnesses, no conditions, no disabilities.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Lazily, unless he's fighting.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He has a lazy, sleepy appearance that makes him look older than he actually is, which is a downside. Other than that, few have seen his face, so it's hard to give a straight answer. Although according to filler, he's really hot. His body probably counts towards hotness...
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Light, one scar over his left eye.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
White-grey (would not say silver), straight, spiky and goes up and to the left. If his hair went downward, it would be pretty shaggy.
9. What color are his eyes?
They were originall both black. One is black and one is red with black tomoe in them.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
He is usually never without his mask, or headband.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
I'd say his back, since the slouch. Probably the legs since ninjas run a lot. I think his whole body's tense. He doesn't do breaks much.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
He has a flak jacket/vest, standard issue konoha forehead protector, black shirt, fishnet undertop, standard issue ANBU gloves, black pants, and standard issue ninja footwear. And bandages for his leg that don't do anything. As for the clothes he's bought on ship, I guess probably extra underpants, maybe a yukata or two.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
They fit. It actually feels sort of weird imagining him in different clothes, really.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
Dresses the same. No fuss.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
For real I have no idea, but I went with dark gray boxer-briefs. More coverage than briefs, less baggy than boxers.
Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Deep, lazy. I keep using the word lazy. He's Inoue Kazuhiko, if anyone wants to look that up or something.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
Speaks pretty easily if he speaks, normal indoor voice, medium speed.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
You know, he says "maa" or something, but that's weird in normal conversation. I like translating it as "ah" which I think sounds like a more natural filler in English... someone can correct me if they want. Maa just sounds strange.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
Konoha-ese, which Inc has a bunch of headcanon for. It's similar to Japanese. I like to think of it as someone who is Japanese using only kanji writing to communicate with someone who is Chinese. It's mostly similar, but difficult.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Not that I know of, but I've been reading scanlations...
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
I don't know how to answer this question. I guess he's an alright impromptu speaker? It would probably be similar if he thought about it and didn't.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Somewhere in between would be good. Sometimes he has really cool lines... and sometimes he just sounds obfuscating, and other times facepalmy.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
He's street-smart and implied to be book-smart if the chuunin exam was similar the year he took it and the year his cute team 7 took it. He's said to be "smarter than Shikamaru," who has a canon IQ of 200!! So difficult.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
Thinks on his feet, but takes time for that to sink and for him to react.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Logical. Practical. His thought process is pretty linear. Point A, point B. Sometimes with points in between that only he likes to think about.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
The same kind of education they give all the ninjas, which is to say physics, some math, but mostly physical training. I guess he might be pretty good at history of the land of fire.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
He sort of teaches ninjas??? His areas of expertise are tracking I guess, but he's pretty well-rounded as ninjas go. Because of the nature of his eye, he can really be an expert in a lot of things.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
He's actually not very social. Mostly people come bother him or he's assigned to them.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Even-tempered, cheerful, laid-back.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Relaxed, but is always on his guard, just in case.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
He acts.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
Definitely fight.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
He's got an odd sense of humor. I need to explore it more; I think he'll be more open as he's finally settled on the ship and started you know... actually meeting people beyond general acquaintance....ing
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
Nope!
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
His father's death, the death of his friend Obito, his time with his students (this isn't really a moment) and I think his death probably changed him quite a bit (lol) and probably almost becoming hokage! How scary.
14. What does he fear?
Fucking shit up.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
It's obvious he doesn't quite think about his future in the way he should-- actually, he doesn't really like thinking about "time" per se... but he aspired at one point to be a greater shinobi than his father. He has yet to do this, I think.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
Apparently, what his face looks like.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Oh boy. HAHA. Well, nothing is known about his relationship with his mother, but as for his father... I'm not sure when he died, but it took Kakashi at least twenty years to finally understand his motives and forgive him for committing suicide. Although before that, Sakumo was Kakashi's idol.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
No. Nonexistent.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
Pretty sure he's the last of his clan!
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
The closest people to this are his team. They're his students and he considers them family in the way that he loves them unconditionally.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Uhhh... I want to pass this question, lol. Sob, who would his best friend even be? Probably Gai or something. This is so sad... they're not very close. They probably met because Gai thinks Kakashi is the shit and has since started up a rivalry with him.
6. Does he have other close friends?
Answering that first one was bad enough, my god.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
Can this be split into two unrelated questions? He doesn't really make friends easily; he's pretty... aloof? Distanced? But he doesn't have problem getting along with people at all.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Inclined to say friends just because his family is sorta dead.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single, never married, last time he dated was in filler and it was a fucking disaster!! Kishimoto, please write a love life for Kakashi!!
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
He's in a relationship with his porn books.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
Romantically I have no clue. But he had idol-crushes on his dad and I guess his latest one is on his sensei.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
Probably someone to put up with him. He's very stoic. Not very good at being affectionate.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
The children he has are his students and if you say one more thing about grandchildren he'll get offended. He has a want to have children somewhere tucked in the back-burner of his brain telling him PS KAKASHI YOU ARE THE LAST OF YOUR CLAN, WHAT KIND OF A SHINOBI ARE YOU!!
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
His rival is Gai, but it's a friendly rivalry! His enemies include Madara, Kabuchimaru, and Envy is on his list of do not want.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Too lazy to look at the Kinsey scale, but he's pretty heterosexual, I guess. I always complain that this is difficult to answer because while he does read and enjoy porn to... excess, he seems to have little interest in pursuing a relationship, or even sex, with a real person. SUCKS.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
All I can tell you is that he likes porn.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Uhhh aside from the porn? Headcanon central: He prefers it to be dark, and for sex to be quiet and intimate. In private, he's a kisser. I mean, seriously, since his mouth is actually out of the mask and everything... Turn offs uh... not sure he has any. Danger, I guess. Vouyerism and exhibitionism. Sex is supposed to be far away from war and somewhere private. Weird bedroom habits? Taking his mask off! Bizarre, right?
Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
He's apparently a virgo. I guess that fits him pretty well... sense of duty, practical, modest. As for the Chinese zodiac, I'd say snake. I'd love to say dogs but those don't fit him as well.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Neither, none.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Yes! All ninjas have their own code. Aside from the general ninja code, he developed his over 26 years of being an official shinobi, helped along with a couple deaths.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Tolerant, differs from curious to indifferent.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
I don't think so!
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Comfortable. He's good with his finances and he's a hard worker.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
Middle-class??? I still don't understand this question. Um, but back home he had a reputation that preceded him.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
Apartment. I forget his roommates. Soya's one! Just a place to crash.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
His dogs. Right now, Christmas gifts. And reindeer antlers....
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He was a ninja teacher! Fans would disagree, but I think he's good at it, considering what he was given. He's a good shinobi, if anything. This month he's... cleaning toilets and being a test subject, neither of which he likes very much.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Reading porn. Reads porn. Trains.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Eats when he's hungry. Doesn't keep to a schedule. Eats out of Sakura's fridge. Drinks sometimes. Avoids sweets.

Which of the following do you associate with the character, or which is his favorite:

2. Smell? Grass, dirt, but his favorite smell is probably clean sheets
3. Time of day? Late at night. His favorite time of day is midmorning but he's always late for it.
