Movie Reccomendation.
I had my day off yesterday, so it was a movie day for me. I went to the theater to see a matinee of Smart People, which was good, but I went into it already a little disappointed that I couldn't see the movie I really wanted to see, so it wasn't as exciting for me, But it was good. I enjoyed it. At night while folding laundry, I watched The Jane Austen Book Club, which I loved. It was so fun watching other people discuss the books I love so much.
But the movie I came in to rave about is the one I watched in the afternoon. I had added it to my blockbuster queue, not really knowing what it was about, but it looked intriguing. The Movie is Across the Universe. I cannot really express just how much I loved this movie. I stayed up until 1 AM so that I could watch it again. It is a story about a group of people in New York in the 60's, but the whole soundtrack is The Beatles. I never realized that The Beatles were such storytellers. The songs fit seamlessly into the plot of the story, so that they help, rather than interrupt the flow. If you like The Beatles, or even if you don't know if you like The Beatles, See this movie. Trust me.
