So I found a picture that sums up a lot about Plumstead:

Mmmmmmm...

Anyway, I went looking for this picture, as I wanted to tone it to see how it looked:

It's way better than my original interpretation that I did in 2007.

But whilst looking for this picture which was taken in 2006 (after I'd taken up photography for a few months) which was helpfully filed in 2007, I found some interesting IR's.

Like this one, I didn't know that I'd ever done an IR portrait. I have no idea how I did this, since on my little A540 photos had to be exposed for quite some time. Did I use a tripod and get him to stand still? Did I handhold on ISP 800? Who knows.

Here's another one. I like this as I'd not take that picture now as I know that IR portraits can't be done without converting your camera and that shooting towards the sun is a bad idea because of the flare.

Yet, it has something I like. I reckon it looks like a cheesy sci-fi book cover or something. I guess it just goes to show that the pictures you take at teh start which you think are 'crap' might have something you can do something with once you're progressed in skill.

Incidentally, I have a converted point'n'shoot on it's way to me, Yay!
