entry 110:work
i wish i could say work is going well...
yea so today i'm precipitating and the stupid supernatant has all this stupid gel in it, i don't see any DNA and to make it worse THERE IS A BUG IN MY TUBE!!! I MEAN A FREAKIN INSECT!!! it wasn't there before i stuck it in the freezer and then after spinning it for 10min a bug suddenly appears? and i couldn't explain it to my research buddy/actual scientist guy because he didn't understand that the black speck was a BUG (however his wife did and laughed). so now i'm prob going to have bits of bug DNA floating around in my pcred and painfully prepared sample like peter parker has bits of spider dna floating in him. only i don't get cool power. i just get messed up results and people who don't understand that bugs are not suppose to be in there. you would think scientist care about keeping things sterile but after a while u realize, sterile is really relative for them.
