my trip in a nutshell
Havent felt much like writing lately. I have been having many mood swings, and I sort of step outside myself and watch but I somehow cannot do anything about them.
I had a great time visiting my family. So much happened. My grandma had a heartattack at the beginning of the year. She has some wierd type of Anemia that they really can't figure out. The majority of my family has died from cancer. It was lovely sitting with my Grandma, eating lunch, drinking coffee, reminiscing about the old times. Seventeen years ago I left that place. It was the best thing for us but I missed out on so much. If I lived next to my Grandma, she would see me so much she would get sick of me. I felt closer to my father being with her.
We visited Fort Massac, it has a lot of history. We had a family picnic there, as we have done so many other times. My mom has the opportunity to be with all her children. Even though I havent seen my brother in many years, I feel close to him. We had a great time together. My sister Yvonne I am not so close with. For many reasons I guess. Tammy and Doug clicked liked they hadnt missed a moment with each other. My brothers little girl Brianna clunged to me the entire time. She is 3. She looks just like me when I was her age. Everyone thought so.
My brothers house is Haunted!! Seriously.
We went and spent some time with my moms brothers. My uncle Kent and Ricki. The only siblings she has left in the world. The only family besides the one she created.
My brother lives in a small town in Tenn. and Shyloe battle ground is down the road from him. Its crazy. Very interesting though. Got a good book from the bookstore there.
Anyway..still not in the mood to write so...im outy.
