Heath Ledger died. I'm one out of thousands to relay this message, but I felt the need to write about it. I'm really surprised that I'm this shaken up about it, I mean, I wasn't a huge fan of his. 28 is too young to die, and my thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans.
In other, more personal news, I had a really great evening yesterday. Elise called me up in the afternoon and we made plans to grab some tea at either Dandelion or Infusion later on that day. We decided on Dandelion, and as we drive up and park, I was beginning to wonder if we we getting tea, or attending some tribal song and dance ritual.
"Jesus Christ. The hippies are here."
So as we're standing in line, Elise finally turns to me and goes "that's it. It's the full moon! They're celebrating the full moon". We get our tea and sit down inside, our conversation is set to the background music of bongo drums and a recorder, and in this moment, I am content. It is the first time in months that I haven't been worried about my relationship, or all of the other things that swirl through my mind at a lightning-fast pace.
After we enjoyed our World Peace and Tropical Sunshine, we went outside to enjoy the music and the festivities that go along with a full moon drum circle.
We met Yuki, who makes the coolest earrings!
Spread the Peace 1 by 1 Speaking of hippies, I'm off to my Enlightenment and Romanticism class, where my professor could of fit right in last night.
Peace, ya'll
