Another Christmas has come and gone.
::Got a tool kit from dad. It's pretty nice, too; Durabuilt Home Toolkit for "most household repairs". I like practical gifts just as much as I like impractical ones.
::STOKED about the new easel I got from mom and dad. It's soo nice...not only is it an easel, but it also came with a built in drawer for paints, a set of oils, a set of acrylics, a set of watercolors, brushes, a wooden palette, and some canvases in various sizes. Now, the only thing I need is time to play around with it.
::Working a lot this week. 32 hours. Can't complain, though...I need the money.
::life in 2 months is going to be very...interesting.
::Made mucho progress on apartment hunting. Mom helped out a lot. Now that my moving out is in the very near future, I'm really starting to appreciate everything that my parents do for me. At times, I'll stop what I'm doing and realize with a twinge of sadness that I am going to miss living at home. I haven't even moved out yet and I already miss my parents. I've just been thinking about how weird it's going to be to go back home and see the room that used to be mine, and think, "that's not my room anymore". To go back home and be considered a guest. Meh, I'll get used to it. I'll only be living about 8 minutes away anyway.
::I got a gift from a certain someone, and I'm not quite sure what to make of it. Not the gift, but the gift-giver. It's funny how one, little (probably insignificant) act of kindness has me caught in a web of confusion. It was kind of an intriguing choice of gift...I'm so tired of trying to decipher the whole situation. I guess time is the winner of this one. In time, I'll understand. Things are either going to work out or they won't.
