Ok. Calling ME and non-ME fans alike. You must tell me if I am really stupid because I feel pretty stupid right now.
There is this dialogue, right? Between Cortez and Vega. Arguing about the Mako vs. the Hammerhead (two infantry fighting vehicles for the non ME fans).
You know. This one:
And, like, so, whenever I triggered this dialogue I got to the end and Vega's reaction is basically mine. "Hehehehe... Wait, I don't get it."
So today, just out of curiosity I googled it and here are all these people talking about how funny it is that Cortez makes a bear joke and pretty slick Bioware for sneaking that in and etc.
OK, so, like, were I naive to this culture, it might be excusable, but if you know me, you know I actually went through a phase where I was all ZOMG BEARS** YAY and ... yeah.
I feel so... dumb. I told Jo this must be why I like Vega so much, because I'm about as smart as he is. Aka. Not really smart. HERP.
** in case you are unfamiliar with this term a bear is gay slang for a husky, large man with a lot of body hair.
