How strange, ending up here in space. Adam had to take some time to gather his thoughts before he set off on another little quest of his.

The first sign that he had to do a bit of exploring was the fact that he had apparently been in this place before. Obviously, Adam did not remember this. But those who spoke of it didn't seem at all delusional, so perhaps he had been. Stranger things have, in fact, happened throughout his life ( ... )

Bobby nearly choked on the drink he had just taken when he heard the voice. His first instinct was to lash out by dropping the temperature below zero. But he was trying to keep the council AWAY from him. No collaring him, nope nope nope. So he refrained from lashing out.

He lowered the bottle and turned to face the guy.

"I don't know what it is exactly. But I can tell you it's the best damn thing I've tasted in a very long time."

"Right," Adam nodded slowly, then repeated himself once more for effect, "Right. I suppose it's much like what they always say about the grass always being greener, but here a little more of the booze having that much more of a kick, particularly when it belongs to someone else, is that it?"

The truth was, Adam himself had waited a hell of a long while to get a good drink. And he thought he very well deserved it, what with that whole fiasco with being buried alive, only to be unburied who knows how long later (Hiro had not provided him with a calendar, the unprecise bastard that he was - not like Adam would've been able to tell the beginning and end of each passing day to begin with but that was a whole other point here) only to think he finally threw him off and escaped, but no. There was that kidnapping incident followed by being taken to Pine- whatever that ripoff concept was, not important and oh right! That whole business with Arthur Petrelli that hadn't seemed to be going in a very good direction.

Not at all remotely close to ( ... )

"Well someone woke up on the wrong side of the ship this morning." He could tell even before the man had opened his mouth that he was pissed. Something bad must had happened to him before he had arrived, because Bobby was sure the man was new to the ship. Or well he was new to him.

"Look I didn't see no name on the bottles okay? Just this stupid symbol thing, and you know what? Lots of bottles have strange symbols on them. Plus, seeing as they've been obviously sitting here for a while, I didn't see the harm in helping myself to one. Heck I haven't even tasted it yet." He handed the bottle over with a small smile. He'd have to play this right if he wanted to have anymore it seemed. So before he actually handed it to the guy, he made sure the bottle was ice cold. Alcohol always tasted better, when it wasn't piss ass cold.
