SUMMARY: Mary Jane, bored by how suddenly quiet it had become, requested some lunch company in the cafeteria. Sister Esther offered her company, and so lunch ensues.
LOCATION: The Cafeteria
Mary Jane checked her watch quickly before taking a few steps into the cafeteria. She was glad that someone had taken her up on her offer -- especially someone she'd been meaning to speak with -- and was thankful for the opportunity. As she took a few more steps into the heart of the cafeteria, she glanced around in search of her companion. This was only the second time she'd been in the cafeteria, and it struck her as odd each time. It reminded her of the cafeteria at school, though she chalked that up to the fact that it, too, was a cafeteria. Perhaps she was just searching for familiarity.
Mary Jane checked her watch one more time, actually registering the numbers. She herself was a little early, after all. Mary Jane took a seat at one of the smaller tables, intending to wait for Sister Esther before making a run for food.
