DATE: Day 69
CHARACTER(S): NORMAN OSBORN (neverapologizes) & ADRIAN VEIDT (buyveidt) & MURAKI'S EYE
STATUS: Closed | Incomplete
SUMMARY: Norman has a souvenir from his 'experiments', and thinks it's worth showing to his lab partner.
LOCATION: Norman's lab

Ever since he'd gotten Muraki in his possession, Norman had been in what could pass for a good mood. Not a good mood by any ordinary definition, but he was more than pleased to have some of his former experiments back on track. His formulas -- things he had to take special care to store away, keep hidden so they went undiscovered -- were something he didn't intend on testing out on himself if he had a guinea pig he could inject.

Not the whole serum, of course. That was for him and him alone. He kept the components separate, injecting Muraki with each and taking notes on what sort of side effects they incurred. Biggest of all, whether or not the poor bastard died or not.

But what he'd noticed above all was the man seemed to have some sort of enhanced healing capability, not unlike Norman's own. That was interesting, and he'd taken blood samples to examine the possible source of this ability. And then there was the eye. It had caught Norman's attention right away, and with each visit and injection Norman would make cold allusions to removing it, inspecting it, dissecting this man like a frog with its chest pinned open. Let's see, he said, you're just full of surprises.

It didn't even need preservation; it was a fake, yet it remianed intriguing. He had it in a jar, turning it slowly. He could make something like this. He wanted to unlock its secrets, as well as the secrets behind the man it had come from. But more so, having it in his possesion was a message of what he was capable of; the power he had and that he'd regained. A trophy, almost. But it was a quiet victory. He set it on his desk, putting it out of the way as he went on to work on one of his smaller mechanics while he waited for Veidt to arrive.
